🥽Standalone Helmet Profiles V2

Headset profile settings, previously only applied during initial setup, are now permanently effective. Any changes made to a profile will automatically be reflected across all associated headsets throughout their lifecycle. This evolution allows you to manage your fleets more centrally and responsively, with simplified actions in just a few clicks, including:

  • Associating / dissociating a headset from a profile
  • Editing a profile’s experience list
  • Change of associated establishment
  • Update Wi-Fi and Kiosk Mode Password (Pico only)

✅Improvements to the “Devices” interface

  • New display modes on the headset list
  • Added filters and sorting to easily find the desired helmets

👤New role: Organization Manager

A user with this role can access all of their organization’s locations, without visibility into other organizations. This allows you to create custom roles with an intermediate view, tailored to your organization.

  • Casting : Opens in a separate window to stream multiple headsets and perform actions simultaneously
  • Experience Edit Tracking : Displaying the name of the last user who edited an experience will be displayed next to the edit date
  • Invitation to test an experience : improved email for a clearer journey

🛠️Fixes and optimizations

  • Stabilizing the connection between the Headset Center and the headsets on the network
  • Information for an unconnected headset is now displayed correctly
  • Correct display of statistics after role impersonation
  • Displaying session statistics for content producers
  • Fixed a bug that prevented interactions with the 360 ​​video player on a standalone headset.
  • Kiosk apps launched from the virtual lounge no longer override the headset’s Kiosk mode configuration

  • Added features for user management  : Several new features have been added to user management. You will now be able to:
    • Anonymize users.
    • Export your users to an Excel spreadsheet.
    • Archive multiple accounts by providing an Excel file.
    • Schedule archiving of one or more accounts on a specific date.
  • Improved Organization/Establishment management  : Several new ergonomic improvements have been added to the management of your platform:
    • The list of establishments will now be displayed directly below the organizations they belong to. This way, you can access it directly without having to click on your organization.
    • When creating an organization/establishment, you will be directly offered the opportunity to associate experiences with it if you wish.
  • Other improvements:
    • A contact form will now be available in the “Help and Support” section. It allows a user to contact a representative if necessary.
    • It will now be possible to select multiple assets in the Asset Library. You can then modify your selection to associate them with an experience, a producer, or even delete them.
  • New standalone headset models are coming to Inversive  : We’ve added the ability to integrate the following models into your headset fleets:
    • Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise
    • Pico G3
    • Meta Quest 3S
    • Long Live Focus Vision
  • Various bug fixes  :
  • The “Information” tab in the Virtual Lounge now correctly retrieves headset data.
  • Remotely installing and updating an experience in standalone headsets now displays a loading tile.
  • The statistics graph now displays information in English if that language has been selected. Additionally, experience categories are no longer displayed if experience types are not available.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented launch statistics from being displayed for standard experiments.
  • General stabilization of the impersonation functionality.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented chapters from being retrieved in a standalone headset experience integrating the Inversive SDK.
  • Other minor bugs
  • Adding the Meta Quest 3 headset model  : In the same way that you can add experiences for Meta Quest 2, you will now be able to add experiences for Meta Quest 3 as well as configure your headsets to deploy your immersive content.
  • Adding English to the Virtual Lounge  : It will now be possible to choose between French and English via a “Settings” button in the Virtual Lounge menu. The languages ​​will be applied to the main Virtual Lounge menus.

    • Improved connection fluidity between Headset Center and active headsets on the network
    • Fixed a bug that prevented inviting testers for 360° videos
    • Fixed a bug that skipped the experience selection step when creating a headset profile

  • Added status to user list  : A “Status” column has been added to the user list and it is now possible to filter users based on this status.
  • Action on Selection  : This feature allows you to perform actions on multiple user selections. Combined with adding statuses, this feature allows you to resend an account activation email or schedule the archiving of a selection of users.
  • Improved “Users” statistics  : The graph in the “Users” tab has been improved and filters have been added.
  • Various bug fixes  :
    • Compression of Unity WebGL Brotli experiences is now handled by the experience creation form
    • A learner’s “Training” field is now optional
    • Fixed a bug that prevented some experience types from being displayed in the catalog after applying a filter
    • Minor bug fixes
  • Added a promotional video for the terminals  : It is now possible to add a promotional video that will be played on the terminals’ return screen, instead of the experience trailers.
  • Inversive SDK  :
    • Fixed an issue that prevented stats from being reported on experiences launched from a wireless headset.
    • Added a check for values ​​entered in the chaptering form.
    • Fixed an issue that caused a chapter’s actions to be mixed up when saving it.
    • Fixed an issue that caused the game session to close for WebGL experiences.
    • Fixed InversiveSdk.GetChapters() function only working in Editor mode.
    • Other minor fixes.
  • Various bug fixes  :
    • Fixed an issue that prevented people invited to try an experience from accessing it.
    • When opening the Headset Center, the functionality to automatically reconnect to it has been corrected.
    • Fixed a bug that prevented you from staying connected with a user in the virtual lobby on Meta Quest 2.
